Jobless Rates Down

Jobless numbers for Minnesota indicate a decrease from April's unemployment rate, but remain higher than they were last year, according the the Brainerd Dispatch. The unemployment rate for the state was 5% in May--not seasonally adjusted--while the nation-wide rate was 5.2%. The jobless rate for May was as follows: Aitkin County, 6%--Cass County, 5.6%--Crow Wing County, 4.9%--Mille Lacs County, 6.7%, Todd County, 4.6%--Wadena County, 5.8%.
